What the Setup Wizard Does

After you register for the first time, you'll be taken the the Setup Wizard. The Setup Wizard is a guided questionnaire that helps configure WiseComply for your society's specific situation. It's the first thing users complete after registering and logging in. The wizard determines your compliance pathway, identifies key requirements, and sets up your society profile based on your answers.

After completing the Setup Wizard, you'll be taken to the Dashboard where you can begin working through your society's compliance requirements.

What You'll Do in the Setup Wizard

• Answer questions about your society's current status

• Provide basic society information

• Confirm charitable registration status

• Verify you have authority to manage society information

• Confirm member consultation and approvals

• Identify who will sign applications and their access requirements

• Set up your compliance pathway based on your answers

Navigating the Setup Wizard

Moving Through Questions

1.         Read the question and "Why are we asking?" explanation

2.         Select your answer

3.         Click "Next" to proceed to the next question

4.         Use "Back" button to review or change previous answers

5.         Complete all required questions

Completing the Wizard

1.         Answer all questions in sequence

2.         Review your answers on final summary screen (if provided)

3.         Click "Complete Setup" or "Finish"

4.         WiseComply configures your society profile based on your answers

5.         You're taken to the Dashboard to begin compliance activities

Changing Answers Later

1.         Go to Society Profile page from main navigation

2.         Review current answers from the wizard

3.         Click "Edit" or "Update" to change any answer

4.         Save changes

5.         WiseComply adjusts your compliance pathway if needed

Common Questions

Can I skip the Setup Wizard? No, you must complete it to access WiseComply features. Your answers configure the platform for your society's specific needs.

What if I'm not sure about an answer? Choose the best option based on what you know. You can change answers later through Society Profile. For critical decisions (like reregistration status), verify with your committee before proceeding.

How long does the Setup Wizard take? Typically 2 minutes if you have all information ready. Some questions may require checking documents or consulting with others.

Can multiple people complete the wizard? Only one person needs to complete it initially, but they should have authority and accurate information about the society. Other users can be added later.

What if our situation changes after completing the wizard? Go to Society Profile and update relevant answers. WiseComply will adjust your compliance tasks and requirements accordingly.

Do I need everything ready before starting the wizard? Helpful to have: society name as registered, knowledge of charitable status, confirmation of member consultation, and information about who can sign applications and their access credentials.

Can I go back and change answers during the wizard? Yes, use the "Back" button to review and change previous answers before completing the wizard.
